maxi skirt

Topshop leather jacket (here)
River Island leather bag (here)
vintage maxi skirt (cooler ASOS one here)

Hey guys! Hope yous all had a great Christmas :D get anything nice? (like ah-mazing clothes?) More importantly, did anyone of yous go shopping on St. Stephen's day/boxing day?! Some stores opened at 12AM!! I love shopping but c'mon that is ridiculously late.

I went shopping around 1pm with my sisters and mom, and visited Topshop, Zara, Bershka and River Island. It was crazy. Everyone's animal instincts came out, women everywhere were snatching tops from the shelves, searching frantically through the rails, hoping to find their size.

Luckily, I managed to grab a few things! I've been wanting an oriental style bomber jacket for SO long plus I know they'll explode in stores everywhere in Spring! (remember all the bomber jackets on the spring 2013 runways?) It was around €73 but reduced to €30! I absolutely love it. You can count on me to be wearing it in a few posts. Anyway, I got some tops from Zara and that was it! It's crazy how everything was reduced by 50%, sometimes more. Did you buy anything that was reduced significantly? Let me know :)
What are everyone's plans for new year?

Miranda Kerr inspired outfit

Chic-a-booti denim jacket, similar here
Forever 21 shirt
River Island bag, here
New Look jeans

FINALLY right!? A personal style post has arrived! I was so excited to start doing these again...it's been so long. So there was a delay because I didn't have a camera besides my iPhone and I didn't want to upload bad quality photos, and unfortunately, I hardly had time what with college assignments, so I'm sorry about that, and I hope you like this one :) As you may/may not have read, this outfit was inspired by Miranda Kerr. You can see the photo of her here. This is something I'd totally wear so I didn't want to change a thing (I would like to have her AMAZING legs though).

In other news, I'm sick :( such a regular occurrence this season especially when it's like 2-8 degrees outside, nearly every day. You can't see it in this post but maaaaan, I had a LOT of long sleeve tops underneath that shirt hehe. I stayed bedridden for two whole days and while that seems awful, I did enjoy everyone being nice to me, bringing me food, and watching Community and Gossip Girl (no spoilers! I'm still catching up) but if you did watch the finale...was it amazing/good/meh or any other adjectives?! Let me know in the comments :)

Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the holidays!

Get the Taylor Swift "I Knew You Were Trouble" Look

     Taylor Swift dusty look
Street Style Market t-shirt | chiarafashion camo pants | Amazon boots (say whaaaaa) | John Lewis key necklace |

Farfetch.com tank top | River Island denim shorts | Madison Harding boots |

Hey guys! I had an inspiration block the past week. I thought about different things to write about but I scraped every idea I put down. Sorry about that and since I'm off college for 2 weeks, there should be more fluidity to my posts, and more of them :) So... I LOVE Taylor Swift. Fan since the start baby! Maybe you like her music or maybe you don't but you've gotta admit...she looks hawwwt in her new video for "I Knew You Were Trouble". She cast aside her squeaky clean dresses for an edgy, grungey look, and I have to say, it suits her very well. Why Taylor do you look good in like...everything?

Okay so fan girling aside, she does look cool and edgy in this video. She opted for off the shoulder knits, ripped tees, denim shorts and dark smokey eye make-up. So as you can imagine (or see from the pictures), these looks aren't hard to recreate. But it is winter. So pair the shorts with knitted tights, add some cotton socks, throw the tank top over a long sleeved top, and finish off with a leather jacket.

As for the military pants, check out my post here to see how I wore it :)

By the way....what do you think of Haylor? ;) (be honest ha!)
Hope the holidays are treating you well!

P.S. Don't forget to cut your hair short, dip dye the ends pink, and accessorize with a hot guy; now you've REALLY nailed the Taylor Swift look.

12 days of Christmas jumpers

Oh how traditional...

A picture says a 1000 words...

 Subtly festive...

Quietly in the holiday spirit...

Last Collage: Dorothy Perkins kiss jumper | A|Wear jacquard sweater | M&S jumper with tassels | Harvey Nichols Reindeer sequined jumper | Alice & Olivia collar jumper | Steve Madden booties | Marc Jacobs patent satchel

Okay technically it's fourteen days of Christmas jumpers... sorry, I got carried away!! They were all so comfy and cute and not to mention festive! Sorry for the lack of recent posts by the way. College work kept me busy for awhile there :/ So I thought this was a really fun post to do, it took a lot of researching through collections online but twas fun :D It's getting absolutely FREEZING outside. It's like one degree outside all the time so I throw on anything to keep me comfy plus a chic coat and I'm good to go. I feel like it's almost cheating. But how handy is it that we don't have to be pressured about our outfit everyday when we can wear a fabulous coat all day?! Like all you fashionistas out there, I want to look my best but not suffer through the frosty cold.

But here comes the important part...HOW to wear a Christmas jumper :o

The secret to wearing a Christmas jumper:
1. Wear with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.

It's seriously that simple, it really does go with everything! (unless you have one with bobbles and lights then yeah...you'll want to wear that scarcely...at home...alone.)

But if you want some ideas then here you go! Bear in mind though it'll be just like wearing a normal sweater.
          1. Wear with a black leather skater skirt
          2. With black skinnies and boots.
          3. Match with neutrals to let it stand out!
          4. Throw a collared shirt underneath one.
          5. The fair isle ones in the first picture are really a statement on their own, let it be :)
Hope this is helpful, you really just wear it with anything. It's just a normal jumper...but Christmassy ;)
If you found any fun/wacky/gorgeous Christmas jumpers let me know...Put forth thy comment!

Happy mid-week folks!
