Spring Trend Round-up

Ahhh, it's almost here. Warm weather (still cold), flowers blossoming, leaves on trees, bunnys hopping around, and of course SPRING FASHION!!
It feels like it's been light years since Louis Vuitton shot out its checkerboard print but it's drawing close, and I think we all need a bit of a refresher. These trends are all so wearable so pay attention!

I'm not gonna go through all of them but just my favourites, Enjoy :)

hair envy - Alexa Chung

Okay, so who doesn't love Alexa Chung? (don't you dare)
So while I could talk endlessly about her fashion icon title, clothes and overall coolness, I come to you today to talk about her HAIR. For me, it just brings the whole lot together. Her unconventional beauty, her style, her attitude, and her hair, it's all too much for me to process.

Aldo slippers (similar here)

Hey guys! These are my new shoes that I LOVE! I know slippers have been around for aaages now...velvet ones, floral ones, studded ones. I've wanted them for so long but I couldn't find the perfect one, and that's what was holding me back.

New Year outfit quickfix

Zara coat (similar here) & knit & camo pants
Aldo spiked slippers (similar here)
Forever 21 gold bracelets, and necklace here
Topshop silver braclet

Happy New Year everyone!! I can't believe we're living in the year 2013 now. I always think about how I have to remember to write 13 instead of 12 when dating assignments and notes! What did yous all do for new year's? Initially, I didn't have any plans but I still researched some new year outfits in the hopes of sporting a sparkly, sequined number. At the last minute, my sister and I decided to go the new years festival in Dublin with my other sister who was volunteering! Alas, I had like...nothing to wear! So I quickly just put this outfit together, and later opted for high knee wedge boots instead of slippers...a smart move considering it was freezing out, and the extra height came in handy to see above the eager heads of everyone popping about.

Hope you all had a great time & your year is getting off to a good start :D
Oh, and any new years resolution? (pfft. more like are any of you REALLY gonna stick to it? hahah)
