Firstly, can I just say a huge hello to all the new visitors and especially new readers from bloglovin! HELLO. The other day, I checked my blog stats and saw that there was a huge spike in pageviews; I frowned, let out a little sigh and thought to myself, "it's spam messing up my stats". But there it was, I saw the words "buzzfeed.com" in the referer section. More frowning and disbelief ensued until I clicked the link and yep, there I was. I'm not 18 anymore but hey who cares! I can tell you, no exaggeration, I literally shouted "WTF" (and not WTF the acronym) at my screen, and had an expression that was a cross between a twisted smile and hysterical laughter. You can see the feature here. Now, all I have to say is 'lol'. But seriously, there's been a huge influx of followers especially on instagram and bloglovin so thanks Buzzfeed and you all!

I wrote this in my updated 'about' section but it's worth repeating again. A lot of you have emailed me recently about how I'm learning Korean and blogger questions! It's been great talking to yous so feel free to write for anything.

Oh and yeah, new shoes. I'm not a heel person and I've specific tastes but every once in a while, you see a pair and think, "YES. Those shoes! THAT is for me." and that's exactly what happened. The mesh, laces and height are all perfect for me.

say you'll be there

I can finally say that my lack of blogging is due to something worthwhile and not my usual lazying about at home, reading obscene amounts of manga. For the first time ever, this girl is getting some dolla$$ (I was going to say 'dough' but any excuse to use the $ sign). Earning money while eating copious amounts of free froyo has never felt so good! Although, regrettably, my messed up sleeping pattern (I once stayed up until 10am) combined with my lack of motivation results in this blog feeling a little neglected and blue. This also means that these recent acquisitions you see here aren't that recent so be prepared for another at the end of the month! Sorry blog and thanks to those of you who manage to stick around. Y'all cool  ✌.

NEW IN // PUMA SUEDE

PUMA Suedes here

The lovely folk at Canoe Inc. sent me these gorgeous pair of kicks from the PUMA Suede collection. No kidding, I wore them the first day they arrived and they are super comfy! It's also perfect timing because I've been in a bit of a shoe rut - it's too warm to wear boots and not warm enough to wear sandals throughout the whole day. Also, big news, I finally got a job! Gone will be the days of having to ask for money and living the lowly student life (well, to a certain extent). I'm going to be travelling a lot back and forth from the city so what better than doing so with comfortable shoes; and as someone whos closet colour palette ranges from black to white with greys in between, the red is a much needed infusion of colour.

NEW IN: ALDO BOOTS

Got these new booties at Aldo last week! I love them! I'm always really reluctant to buy shoes with a heel but these aren't too high; when you're constantly walking around college and rushing to the bus stop, comfort comes first. I feel like I'm walking on air when I wear these (well, around my house - they haven't seen public daylight yet).

3 DAYS TILL EXAMS BEGIN. I am so doomed. Despite this predicament, I've still managed to go shopping several days, watch and complete a few anime series, blog, and tweet loads about how I should be studying. Did I mention that I've also been sleeping at 6am and waking at 1pm? And no, I didn't pull the all-nighters studying; just picture me in my bed with my laptop laughing my ass off on tumblr and watching shows and of course, eating bad food at bad times. Do you understand now how dooooomed I am!? 

I'm literally reading 6/7 books at the same time (novels, plays, poems). Help. It's possibly the worst way to start off the new year.

NEW IN: NASTYGAL

I've become shamelessly addicted to online shopping lately, so much that I've pretty much depleted my bank account supply. The last part of now-recovering purse was spent on these babies! Black and white - are we even surprised? I'd been looking for a simple dress and when I saw this on Nasty Gal, I knew it was perfect.; flowy, flattering and with some shoulder cut-outs for an extra bit of flair. I seriously think it's perfect for any season! 

The white overalls (which was weirdly called a jumper on the site, never heard that before) is more 'on trend'. I've always wanted a pair! I tend to go for monochromatic styles - if you didn't notice from my last post - but I realised that I don't actually own something white all over, sure, I have a basic white tee but no white jeans, jacket, shoes...nothing, so hey, what better time than now?

The black dress is still on sale but I couldn't find the white jumper anymore! Links below!
